About the Role
We are seeking, on behalf of one of our clients, a highly motivated Policyholder & Enrollment Specialist. This position plays a key role in supporting new customers through the enrollment process and ensuring an excellent service experience. To be successful, the Specialist must demonstrate strong communication skills, a friendly and professional demeanor, and impeccable phone etiquette. The ideal candidate will be a clear communicator with the ability to build and nurture relationships in a virtual environment
What You Will Do
Customer Service & Communication
- Respond to questions, resolve issues, and provide detailed information on requirements and processes.
- Guide and correspond with applicants and prospective customers.
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and other correspondence.
- Provide clerical support and process requests via telephone, email, fax, or letter.
- Promote customer retention using service recovery strategies by explaining policy benefits, provisions, and settlement options.
Application & Enrollment Processing
- Ensure applications are accurate and complete with all required documentation.
- Process enrollments and schedule meetings with applicants.
Data Entry & Record Management
- Enter, update, and review records in internal systems.
- Maintain customer databases and prepare documentation.
- Research and update customer information.
Policy & Account Management
- Process policy updates, beneficiary changes, ownership transfers, and address changes.
- Manage requests from policyholders, associates, and internal departments.
- Research accounting history as needed.
Billing & Financial Processing
- Assist with billing matters and payment processing.
Reporting & Administrative Support
- Prepare and submit reports as required.
- Provide project and administrative support.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
What You Need to Succeed
- High school diploma or GED (required).
- Proficiency in Portuguese; intermediate proficiency in Spanish and English.
- Reliable internet connection (wired preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Comfortable following both written and verbal instructions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong numerical ability for accurate calculations.
- Previous experience in data entry or enrollment-based roles (preferred).
